The seven-storey section of the London Hotel was built in 1911 to a design by architect Nahum Barnett. In 1934, the adjoining four-storey warehouse was amalgamated with the hotel and the interior was entirely refurbished in a scheme designed by Smith, Ogg and Serpell. The building is significant as a member of a group of architecturally coherent and exotic turn of the century buildings in Elizabeth Street. Classified: 06/06/1994

The London Hotel Assembly Rooms adjacent the London Inn were erected c.1862 for William Douglas as an extension to the original building of c.1850-53.
